My Old Man via John Prine and of course Steve Goodman

I saw Steve Goodman sing this song long ago at a club that no longer exists in NYC.
Steve is long gone, but John Prine keeps on keeping on.

    It reminds me of a my dad, and of course my mom, and I just find it beautiful. . . the way they can't connect when he's alive but now the son has regrets. And of course I saw Steve Goodman sing it in the early eighties, everything ties together. Thanks for asking . . .
